Q: Non-Canadian citizen arrested in Canada for drugs?
I am looking for a news story from the internet of an individual who was not from Canada who was prosecuted for either possession, distribution, or conspiracy of drugs. Also I would need to know what happened to that individual or group of individuals? Thanks in advance!
A: Sometimes you just got to google. Try this (copy and past it all)
american +arrested +Canada +drug +sentenced
Q: why cant we import drugs from canada?
the republican party has blocked drug imports from canada, claiming that safety cannot be guaranteed. however we regularly import food and food products from other nations with no testing. if the chineese are already selling rat poison as dog food and antifreeze as toothpaste what could possibly be the harm in importing drugs?
A: Because the drug companies here want to bend you over and they can't do that with Canadian drugs, as Canadian law limits what they can sell for.
Allowing importation would force real competition and force pharmaceutical firms to lover prices. Obviously, they'd rather not. Odd that Republicans don't support capitalism when it's their rich friends that would have to compete and take 6.5 billion in profits instead of 8.
Anyone that opposes importation on the grounds of the drugs being "untested" I ask this, "Where are all the dead Canadians?" Where are the bodies stacked like cord wood in Montreal and Toronto, victims of maniacal socialist mad scientists cooking up cheap antibiotics and blood pressure meds in their garages?
Answer: there are none. The same drugs there are the same ones here, just cheaper.

Q: Prescription Drugs in Canada: does American insurance cover it?
I just found out a dear friend who is older and has numerous health problems takes almost a dozen medications to treat their illnesses. Do private/public insurance plans in America cover prescriptions in Canada or Mexico - if there is a cost savings there?
A: http://www.edrugsearch.com/pharmacy-directory/
This is a site of over 20 companies to find drugs and the costs in Canada.
I doubt that most insurance companies will reimburse for these drugs in Canada or Mexico, but most likely would have to call and ask.
My husband has been ordering from Canada for the last 6 months and both his neurologist and family doctor approve of this and recommend it due to the high cost in the US. Many drugs that are brand name in the US are now generic in Canada; The US used to have a 7 year statute for drugs for brand before they could go to generic, but now the pharmaceutical company has lobbied to extend it to an average of 14 years. For people with great insurance and great RX coverage is not a problem, but for people who actually pay the full price themselves find that many decide to stop taking the drugs or cut the dosage to afford.
We were paying an average of $500 per month for drugs, but now are paying 1/2 to 1/3 of the cost to buy from Canada.
I know nothing about Mexico, but only know from years ago while there, one couple who were both insurance agents would take a list of drugs that they bought for their fathers cancer. The savings was so substantial that the father would pay for their trip with the savings he received by buying the drugs there. They went at least twice a year doing this for years and apparently he was doing fine.
There is another downside and that is Medicare part D. They will not consider any payments made to Canada or other countries to be applied to the donut hole. Per my calculations, my husband will be in the donut hole in the 5th month next year when he becomes eligible and we may still go to Canada since it will be still cheaper than paying out of pocket in the US.
There are some limitations and that they will not sell any controlled drugs. But the good news is that you can go to any website, list the drug and it will tell you the cost for both brand and generic. Your friend maybe surprised of the cost difference between the US and Canada.
good luck
Q: What are McCain and Obama's stance on US citizens purchasing drugs from Canada at lower rates?
My premiums have remained constant but my plan covers less than it use to. Prescription drug costs have increased exponentially due to less of it being covered by my insurance.
Does McCain or Obama have any solutions to this or is it addressed in their Health Care plan details?
A: They would both prefer Americans spend their money here on American products.
Q: Can you buy prescription drugs in Canada or no?
Seems like a simple question with a simple answer. However, I've searched all over the internet and can't get a clear answer on this. Some say yes, some say no. Some say it is illegal, but not enforced. Some say even if you have a prescription from a US doctor, it won't be valid in Canada. Some say none of these restrictions matter. I have a prescription from a US doctor. My insurance doesn't seem to cover this (still fighting them) and the prescription is atrociously high in cost. I can get the *same pills* in the *same packaging* from Canada for about 1/8 the cost. In fact, even if my insurance does cover it, my co-pay with insurance would be slightly higher than purchasing direct from CA with no insurance. It's ridiculous. Thank God I never get sick. I don't know how chronic pill-poppers survive with these high-cost pharmaceutical extortionists.
A: Yes you can.
Q: Several Questions About Drugs In Canada?
I am hearing that some drugs are leagal in canada such as:
Marijuana, peyote, and mushrooms..........Is this true?
Where at in canada is it legal? Do you have to be a citizen/ or have a doctors prescription? Do you buy the stuff from stores? What Stores? Is it more exspensive there than in America?
And my final question is don't you have to have a passport now to visit canada?
A: There was discussion about one province decriminalizing it. Which didn't go through. We have medicinal marijuana available with a perscription. And it's hard to get. The only person I know who've been able to get it have been cancer survivors. The only reason I think people think it's legal here is that we're more relaxed and tolerate of pot-heads.
If you want a country you can buy pot, no hassle, no prescription, any store any time try the Netherlands. More specifically Amsterdam. They also have hookers in case you want some cheap sex with your drugs.
I don't know what Peyote is. Mushrooms aren't legal.
You don't need a passport until June 2009
Q: How can I stop the drugs from Canada spam from coming into my inbox?
I don't know where or how it got onto my inbox list.
A: most e-mail services have a button called spam, what this does is essentially "teaches" your spam filter what to block.. just highlight those emails and click spam.. or mark as spam.. or whatever your e-mail service says.. after doing this a couple times.. they will start to go directly to your bulk/spam folder !
Q: Why are democracy nations like Canada and the USA promoting street drugs like marijuana to the world?
Did the democracy nations of Canada and the USA fight for freedom to smoke marijuana and promote marijuana drug use worldwide. Canadians and Americans are nothing but burnt out stoner pot head losers. The western world in nothing but marijuana drug addicts that smoke marijuana to lower their testosterone levels to horny loser mode. Anti-drug citizens worldwide fight to take down the pot head citizens in democracy nations like Canada and the USA from turning the world into marijuana drug addict burnt out lazy smoked out brains.
A: You've got it backwards, pal. The USA has been at the forefront of the 'war on drugs', promoting their anti drug stand around the world by encouraging other nations to crack down on cultivation, use and sales. The vast majority of US citizens do not smoke pot or use other drugs. The US arrests more people for non violent drug crimes than any other country in the world. The US and Canada promoting drug use? Just have to laugh at your ignorance!!
Q: What kind of drugs are legal in Canada, if any.?
If there are any drugs in Canada that are legal, tell me.
A: absolutely everything drug related is illegal unless it's over the counter and prescriptions.
Q: Are drugs brought from Canada effective for errection disfunction?
Viagra or ciallus or any of the leading drugs use for errection disfunction.
A: It is the same drug, OK? canada can sell it for less
Q: Is it unlawfull to order prescription drugs from canada?
Do we still have free trade with Canada and the USA.
A: I don't know if it's illegal, but it definitly pisses Canadians off. The reason our prescription drugs are so cheap is because they're subsidized by our TAX DOLLARS. If you want to pay taxes and in return, get cheaper pharmaceuticals, you're more than welcome to move to Canada. It is hypocritical that many Americans take advantage of our government-subsidized healthcare system, then when other Americans suggest a similar system in the US, they call them liberals as if it's an insult. You can't have your cake and eat it too.
