Q: How can I get sleep. I have restless leg syndrome and take requip, but it's not working. Any other ideas?
I also have diabetes and am taking cal-meg and iron for anemia. I have tried hot showers, calming lotions, sleeping pills, and even tried smoking pot. Everything works at first, but usually doesn't last too long. Are there any herbs or teas I might consider? I just made a appointment with a acupuncturist. I hope she can help me. A: Try drinking a glass of tonic water before bed. Tonic water has quinine in it, which is an effective treatment for rls. I drink diet tonic water with a lime in it, and it works more effectively than any other treatment I have tried. Good luck ... rls is the pits! I hope this helps!

A: Alas, no one does. It was apparently a "concept" chair built strictly for the commercial. I suspect it's not actually a functional recliner as well. Here's a great thread by people searching for The Chair. Quite a number of them contacted GlaxoSmithKline to find info about The Chair, but all received the standard reply. There are some links to what I would call near misses, including a 2-position chaise which I think is the closest match to The Chair. A: The recliner you are talking about looks Danish modern. I would try some of the companies that make modern furniture. You might also contact the GlaxoSmithKline and ask for the name of the agency that did this ad. Then you can probably find out the name of the manufacturer of the recliner.

Q: What, in both Requip/Ropinirole and Cipro, would cause the same allergic reaction?
These drugs were taken 8 years apart, I just happened to have the same swelling of face, eyes, tongue and nose. I'm looking for the type/ingredient/anything that I could then look to avoid in the future?

Q: Is is ok to take Requip with Topamax?
I'm taking topamax which is an anti-seizure medicine in the morning and at bedtime and I would like to take my requip as prescribed at bedtime with it but I'm fearfull of the side effects. Q: how young can you be to start requip?
RLS runs in my family and now my 10 year old nephew is having problems with it but the doctor he sees says he is to young to take medication for it so I was wondering if anyone this age or about this age is taking requip. I know my son had trouble sitting in school for years and the doctors then kept telling us it was growing pain. Now he takes medicine for it also and what a difference it has made.

A: I have done a lot of searching on this to make sure I gave you accurate info. I cannot find any age specified for taking the drug. the main problem seems to be that it has never been tested on children so most doctors will not prescribe it for them. There is also the fact that the drug interferes with the dopamine produced in the brain and can cause drowsiness or dizziness.

Q: Is it safe to take Trazadone and requip during my pregnancy?
I am about 7 weeks and have not had my first OBGYN appt. yet! I am wondering what I should do.

A: SO many mothers are learning the harsh truth about Paxil - as if they didn't already know that anything you consume during pg would have an effect... Stop the meds immediately and contact the dr who prescribed them as well as your OBGYN AND a pharmacist. My doc even took me off of my thyroid meds during my last pg, so my advice is to do whatever you can to live without all drug substances until you have the baby.

A: I don't know what the replacement would be..will watch your question to find out. My Dr. put me on Gabapenten along with Requip though and it seems to be working great.

Q: Why did Requip go generic so soon?
I just picked up my prescription for Requip and found out it has just gone generic. I'm a little confused about this since my understanding was that this drug first came out in 2005 and that drugs get to be patented for 17 years before becomming a generic. So if this is the case, then why has Requip gone generic after being on the market for only three years?

A: The clock starts ticking when the chemical compound is patented not when it hits the market. it may take years of testing before it is approved for use and hits the shelves.

Q: Can Requip cause increased appetite?
I've been taking Requip for the past couple of months for Periodic Limb Movement Disorder. It's helped tremendously with my quality of sleep and energy level during the day. But I've noticed that I've also been experiencing a ravenous appetite. Could the Requip be contributing to this? Have any of you had similar experiences?

Q: Is it safe to take Flexeril, Vicodin 10mg and Xanax .5 and also Requip at the same time before bed?
